The CAN Switch divides a single logical network into several physical networks. With the CAN Switch mixed topology can be used at all baudrates. The switch has five ports, one is used for configuration. The switch can be configured with CANopen SDO:s and error handling is done in accordance to CANopen EMCY. The CAN Switch can be equipped with different types of connectors, such as M12 or D-SUB9. The CAN switch is also equipped with filters which can be set up individually for each bus.
Now there is also a DIN-rail mount version of the CAN-switch. This product is equipped with MSTB-connectors and DSub9. Unit has still got 5 CAN-ports and the one ports is used for configuration as the IP67-unit.
